Staying at this campground was a delightful experience overall! The location being just a short drive from Yosemite allowed us to access the park early in the day, which was a massive advantage. The clean and convenient camp sink added to our comfort, but the restrooms could use more regular cleaning. It's definitely a spot I'd return to, especially for the easy access to Yosemite.

The staff was incredibly nice; they went out of their way to help me print directions when we lost cell service.

While the camp sink was helpful, the bathrooms were often not ideally maintained, especially with the foot traffic from campers.

My experience was surprisingly positive. I found the cabin comfortable and clean, which made my stay enjoyable. The lack of amenities was apparent, but it didn’t detract much from my overall experience. I would say it’s a solid choice for those looking for a reasonably priced stay close to the national park.

We had an overall pleasant stay, especially considering the proximity to Yosemite. The tent cabin we rented offered essential amenities and was quite comfortable, but there were maintenance issues that detracted from the experience. The bathrooms needed a good upgrade, and the trash situation should definitely be addressed for cleanliness. On a positive note, we enjoyed the grill outside and the access to the nearby pool, which added to the stay.

Indian Flat Campground is a convenient spot if you're heading to Yosemite, offering amenities like power, water, and sewer that you won't find in the park. However, the sites are cramped, and the restroom facilities need significant improvement. We had a mixed experience with both positive interactions and less-than-ideal sanitary conditions.
Rooms
6.0
The tent setup we stayed in was spacious enough but not very luxurious. It had the basics, including a queen-size bed, but it lacked air conditioning, which was a bit uncomfortable in the heat.
Service

The staff was genuinely nice and helpful during our stay. It's clear that the manager cares about the campground, making check-in smooth and welcoming.
Location

Being only about 30 minutes from Yosemite Valley makes this campground a great launch point for exploring the park, though it doesn't quite feel like a serene escape into nature.
Dining
7.0
While we didn't eat at the nearby diner, it's nice to know there are options available like all-you-can-eat breakfast. However, the dining experience overall could benefit from more choices.
Facilities

The facilities, particularly the restrooms, were a letdown. They were poorly maintained and not very clean, making it uncomfortable to use them.

We had a mixed experience at Indian Flats Campground. The tan cabin we stayed in was spacious and comfortable, making it a good base while visiting Yosemite. However, the campground facilities left much to be desired, especially the bathrooms. While the location is fantastic, just a short drive from the park, the overall cleanliness and privacy could use improvement.
